Job description

Responsibilities (will include but are not limited to the following)
  • Maximize sales in assigned accounts by increasing distribution, shelf space, displays, securing price points, draught taps, merchandising, etc. while on relief routes
  • Responsible for executing account level objectives while on routes
  • Maintain regular call frequency on all assigned retail accounts to meet sales obligations and customer needs
  • Ensure product freshness standards in all assigned retail accounts
  • Build displays, participate in shelf resets, and other merchandising activities as required
  • Re-pack product in the market to maintain high company standards and package integrity
  • Sustain proper inventory levels at retail accounts to ensure there are no out-of-stock/over-stock situations
  • Provide periodic feedback regarding competitive market data
  • Work with all departments to resolve customer service issues (e.g. credit/collection, deliveries, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in Mobility handheld
  • Attend sales/team meetings as directed by management along with daily interaction with manager to discuss sales issues, competitive activities, and opportunities to maximize sales efforts
  • Participate in evening and weekend promotions as necessary
  • Safety awareness and prevention is the duty of all employees. As an employee of Eagle Distributing, it is incumbent of you to think safe, be safe, act safe and be aware of all situations that could put safety in jeopardy to any employee or our customers. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on company vehicles. Follow all traffic laws, ordinances and regulations of Local, State, Federal and Company.

Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and be attentive to details
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills
  • Good math skills and computer skills - Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical requirements include: Repetitive bending, lifting up to 20 lbs, pulling/pushing up to 250 pounds on a two-wheeler, hanging point of sale merchandise

Work Experience Requirements
  • Prior selling or merchandising experience preferred

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED certificate required; College degree preferred

Compensation: $35,000.00 per year
