Job description

Candidates must have at least 5 years experience in the following:

- Day to day management experience in the apartment industry managing 500+ apartments

- Hiring, training and overseeing staff and building strong teams

- Bidding, negotiating and implementing contracts

- Experience in developing capital improvement projects and direct oversight through completion

- Reviewing and analyzing various reports for trends, opportunities and potential problems

- Extensive knowledge in maintenance, apartment turnovers, building components and facility related issues

- Customer service

- Snow removal

- Hands on position

- On call responsibilities

Candidates must possess the following qualities:

- Leadership skills to motivate employees towards a common goal;

- Ability to implement policies and procedures;

- Ability to effectively communicate, written and verbally, to residents, vendors, superiors and subordinates;

- Organizational skills to handle many tasks at the same time, achieve deadlines and work effectively and efficiently;

- Have an acute ability to create and implement operating efficiencies.
