We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our successful team. This role is essential for managing cases before they enter the litigation phase, ensuring that our clients receive the excellent care and attention they deserve. *This in an in-person/hybrid role in Irving, Texas.

Position Overview:
As a Pre-Litigation Attorney, you will work closely with clients and the litigation team to evaluate and develop cases, perform thorough investigations, and negotiate settlements. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of personal injury law, excellent negotiation skills, and a desire to help clients achieve justice.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Evaluation: Review and assess potential personal injury claims to determine merit and develop case strategies.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to gather relevant information, provide updates, and explain legal processes.
  • Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of claims, including obtaining medical records, accident reports, and witness statements.
  • Settlement Negotiation: Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing parties to secure favorable settlements for clients.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review necessary documents, including demand letters and settlement proposals, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the litigation team to ensure smooth transitions of cases to the litigation phase when necessary.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to ethical standards and legal regulations throughout all interactions and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensing: Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas, with a strong understanding of personal injury law.
  • Experience: Minimum of over 4 years of experience in personal injury law, focused on motor vehicle accident (MVA) and commercial vehicle accident (CVA) cases, with a preference for pre-litigation expertise.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
  • Research Skills: Strong legal research skills and attention to detail in facts and documentation.
  • Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
