Job description

We are a plaintiff personal injury law firm specializing in substantial/catastrophic injuries based in Los Angeles and we are seeking a pre-litigation Attorney to join our team. The role will have the opportunity to handle quality pre-litigation personal injury matters and lead the fight for our clients.

The pre-litigation attorney will be dealing with cases pre-suit/ pre-litigation and pre-arbitration to ensure proper prosecution and maximizing the value of each case. The position can be very lucrative as the pre-litigation attorney will get a percentage of fees obtained pre-suit plus base.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Coverage and Liability evaluations.
  • Making recommendations for further investigative efforts.
  • Hiring/retaining experts when necessary.
  • Extensive client contact / advising clients of the status of their claims.
  • Take Pre-Suit depositions and defend examinations under oath.
  • Analyzing and summarizing medical records and bills.
  • Evaluating past treatment and future treatment recommendations.
  • Preparing complex and/or high-value demand packages.
  • Negotiating and settling pre-suit personal injury cases.
  • Preparing Petitions for Minor’s Compromises.
  • Preparing Government Entity Claims, tracking Deadlines and Statutes of Limitations for same.
  • Preparing civil complaints and demands for arbitration


Qualifications:

  • California Licensed Attorney in Good Standing
  • 2+ years of Attorney experience. Prior Personal Injury Experience is a huge plus.
  • A strong understanding of medicine is a huge plus.
  • Affable demeanor, and great people skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a huge plus
  • Full-time In-Office Position
