Lead Packer
Compensation: $22.17- $24.95 an hour, paid weekly!
Available Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM (2,2,3 Schedule)
Summary: Responsible for the production and upkeep on all Injection Molding equipment. Perform all duties to set up, run, and monitor the above equipment. Train employees on lower-level tasks as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
- Directs and coordinates daily tasks for approximately 35+ employees to include but not limited to packers, trainers, reliefs, etc.
- Coordinates and assists with break relief as necessary.
- Completes daily attendance reports.
- Complete and direct personnel to complete set-up standard work during changeovers.
- Assists in the training of all new packers and temps.
- Routinely performs SWIS and QC audits.
- Complete all paperwork pertaining to the job, completely and accurately.
- Enter all production downtime into SAP.
- Adheres to all safety rules and requirements of the department and ensures that all rules are followed.
- Monitor and direct the activities of temporary employees in the course of their daily activities.
- Perform weekly GEMBA Walks and BBS Audits
- Performs other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:
- Candidates should have 3+ years of experience within a manufacturing organization in a team-leading role. Production or Packaging Specialist desired.
- Prior packing experience.
- Must be able to work any specified shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Must give good communication skills both oral and written and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- The ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.
- Must be able to read, print, and interpret SAP reports and packaging specifications.
