City : Fort Saskatchewan State : Alberta (CA-AB) Country : Canada (CA) Requisition Number : 43171 A Day in the Life:Reporting to the Reliability Excellence Superintendent the Millwright is a multi-skill role that involves supporting various areas of maintenance management, maintenance reliability, and maintenance operations. The distribution of work amongst these areas is dynamic and based on the changing needs of the maintenance department. This role will provide mechanical support services to plant operations, install new services, maintain safety of employees and facilities, communicate with vendors, create purchase requisitions, keep accurate records, and participate in emergency and weekend callouts.

They will also maintain equipment logs and be available for overtime based on plant demands. Position Details:Work Schedule: This temporary position typically operates on a 5 x 8 shift schedule. Please note that the specific hours and days may change based on operational needs and requirements.Hourly Pay Rate: $44/hrWhat You'll Be Doing:Maintain knowledge of all departmental safety standards, policies, and procedures.Additionally, the position requires the promotion, encouragement, and enforcement of safety compliance by all Bunge personnel and contractor personnel working in the departmentWork with various maintenance staff, electrical staff, operations staff, and contractors in a team environmentContribute to the overall plant safety by participating in plant safety training and hazard detectionParticipate with the maintenance team members for repairs as required during scheduled and off hoursSafely operate plant equipment including forklift and skidsteerResponsible for housekeeping duties in work areas as well as welding shop and steel storage areaAbility to run a crew of varied trades during annual shutdownParticipate in the training of new maintenance staffCompliance with all applicable safety rulesPositive attitude and effective co-operation with fellow workers, contractors, and department managers and supervisorsReliability to carry out duties and follow instructionsInitiative and ability to perform work duties without supervisionAssist other trades with their tasks or perform other duties when workload is low.Interact with service providers such as vendors, government regulators and inspectors, contractors, and consultantsBe a driver for the success of the preventative maintenance programs on sitePerform mechanical and electrical maintenance support to site operations in the form of preventative maintenance (PM) and planned work assignmentsDiagnose, troubleshoot, and correct equipment breakdowns for both short-term and long-term remediationBuild and execute equipment reliability and condition monitoring programRebuild and repair equipment such as pumps, valves, and other equipmentActive engagement in Maintenance Engineering projectsTake ownership of plant piping systemsModify, design, and fabricate various items from structural, piping, machine guarding, chutes, tools, or other items as requiredFuture and additional responsibilities:Assist in the development and implementation of Maintenance reliability strategies; including, but not limited to:Mechanical Integrity (MI) initiatives and activities (UT, Oil analysis, Vibration analysis)Develop detailed work instructions, including: planned work, PM tasks, standard operating procedures (SOP), and trainingRoot cause / corrective actionAssist in the development, implementation, and management of predictive maintenance strategiesParticipate in the development of and management of planned maintenance shutdowns and outagesSupport site Management Of Change (MOC)Participate in site Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) activities as neededOther duties as assignedSkill/Experience Requirements:Graduate of a recognized millwright program with a valid interprovincial journeyman ticketMW or CET (Certified Engineering Technologist), CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) certificate is an asset10+ years of successful work experience in plant reliability domainStrong mechanical and electrical aptitudeUnderstanding of root cause/corrective actionMaintenance planning, inventory control and use of CMMS is an assetDemonstrate a high level of teamwork, dedication and self-directionSupport diversity and inclusion in the workplaceMaintain a high level of cleanliness and organizationAbility to adapt to change and shift priorities, both expected and unexpected.Be available for emergency call-ins, including nights and weekendsComputer / software skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Custom Software, etc.)Ability to problem solve independently and see tasks throughExcellent English verbal, written, and listening communication skillsAbility to interact with all levels of staff and managementAbility to multi-task and work on/keep track of various projects and tasks at one timeSelf-starter and willingness to safely get tasks done in a timely mannerAbility to travel to other Bunge sites for training and assistance if required#INDT1At Bunge (NYSE: BG), our purpose is to connect farmers to consumers to deliver essential food, feed and fuel to the world.
