Job description

Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique agency located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. Our goal is to connect local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking a Temporary Contact Center Representative I for a credit union in San Dimas.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively educate members on products & services.
  • Assist members with a variety of transactions, inquiries, and problem solving.
  • Possess the knowledge and ability to assist consumer and commercial members.
  • Establish additional services by creating account records over the phone.
  • Appropriately document interactions to record for relationship management.
  • Promote team participation at a departmental and organizational level.
  • Perform outbound calling to increase banking relationships and meet members’ financial needs.
  • Balance daily work and maintain fee reversal limits.
  • Meet or exceed the standard score on the annual product knowledge certification.
  • Meet or exceed referral, sales and service goals.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements for financial institutions.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience working in a customer service position for a bank/credit union preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience dealing with the public in a call center environment preferred.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
  • Must be willing to undergo background check.
  • Ability to deal effectively with multiple tasks and interruptions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Accurate typing skills at 40wpm.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality.

Position Type: Temporary (Approximately 10 weeks with possibility of extending to year-end depending on need/performance)

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $25/hour
