Job description

Medical Director position with a well establish and thriving health system in Michiganโ€™s UP.
The position is in Sault Ste Marie, MI overlooking the beautiful Mackinac Bay.
The Medical Director position will be responsible for providing medical leadership for four health centers across seven counties in the Easter Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  Other duties include supervision of clinical staff, defining and developing policy and procedures, managing medical quality improvement programs and oversee continued AAAHC accreditation. This role will have 60/40 administration to clinical duties.
Salaried, full time position ($270K) includes benefits: 27 days PTO/sick, 12 paid holidays CME ($3500/10days); $2000 licenses, health and disability insurance, relocation assistance, sign-on bonus and 1% 401K match with loan repayment available.
Candidates must have/obtain active MI licensure, current DEA and BE/BC in Family Medicine or Primary Care Speciality.  Administrative experience is required.
