Associate Dentist โ€“ Upper Peninsula, Michigan

Fee-for-Service | High Demand | $300K+ Potential

An exceptional opportunity is available for an Associate Dentist to join a thriving, solo private practice in Michiganโ€™s Upper Peninsula. This practice is the only dental office within approximately 50 miles, resulting in extremely high patient demand, strong production, and outstanding collections. The environment is community-focused, non-corporate, and built on long-term patient relationships and clinical integrity.


Practice Highlights
  • Established private practice (opened late 2025)
  • Only dental provider in the area with consistent patient overflow
  • Averaging ~4 new patients per day
  • Fee-for-service only (no Medicaid, no insurance networks)
  • Patients routinely travel 1+ hour for care
  • Strong collections:
    • 80โ€“90% collected at time of service
    • Minimal accounts receivable
    • Over $500K in revenue generated in the past 3 months
Facility & Technology
  • 4 operatories (2 doctor, 2 hygiene)
  • Fully staffed support team
  • Modern technology including:
    • Digital sensors
    • Intraoral scanner (lab-integrated)

Associate Dentist Role

This position is ideal for a dentist who enjoys bread-and-butter dentistry and values strong patient relationships.

Clinical Scope Includes:

  • Restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges)
  • Simple extractions
  • Hygiene checks
  • Emergency care

No requirement for advanced procedures. Complex cases, implants, and dentures are handled by the owner. A structured and supportive ramp-up period will be provided to ensure long-term success.

Schedule
  • 4.5 days per week
    • Mondayโ€“Thursday: 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM

  • One-hour lunch break daily
  • Opportunity to expand to a full 5-day schedule
Compensation
  • Guaranteed hourly rate: $150/hour
  • Transition to production-based compensation when ready:
    • 32% of collections
  • Earning potential:
    • Target first-year income: ~$300K
    • Experienced dentists can produce $1.4M+ annually
  • Strong, fast collections with no insurance delays

  • Sign-on bonus: ~$15,000 (flexible)
