This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center serving the Upper Peninsula region with a strong commitment to medical education and patient care. The facility features a 15-bed department and maintains primary stroke certification, providing advanced care capabilities while offering teaching opportunities with family medicine residents and medical students.
Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services
• Must maintain active Michigan medical license
• Round on assigned and unassigned patients (FM residency typically handles unassigned)
• Manage low and high risk pregnancies with routine and complicated deliveries
• Perform FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds (Level I preferred), and routine vaginal deliveries
• Handle cesarean sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
• Provide VBAC services and repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Offer office/minor gynecology procedures and surgical gynecology services
• Open and laparoscopic procedures including diagnostic and operative cases
• Conscious sedation module completion available on-site if privileges requested
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
