Job description

Achievement Behavior Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) to work one-on-one with a 9-year-old male client in Essex County, NJ.

Summer Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday

  • 1:30 PM start time

  • Approximately 2 hours per day

School Year Schedule (Expected):

  • Monday–Friday

  • 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM

This case is expected to continue beyond the summer, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent, long-term part-time hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision

  • Work directly with the client in the home and/or community setting

  • Collect data and document session progress

  • Help develop communication, social, and daily living skills

  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with the client and family

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children preferred

  • RBT certification is a plus but not required

  • Reliable transportation

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to commit to a consistent schedule
