Job description

Join our Premier Property Management Team.

The Temporary Recruiter role supports the execution side of the recruiting process, including requisition management, candidate communication, phone screens, interview coordination, hiring manager follow-up, offer coordination within approved guidelines, and ATS documentation.
This role does not assume full ownership of the strategic responsibilities, workforce planning support, hiring strategy changes, employer branding initiatives, process redesign, compensation decisions, and complex escalations will remain with internal leadership or be addressed through the established escalation process.
Hourly wage $40/hour.
  • This role will work in-office at our Fargo Home Office Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • This is a temporary position intended to provide recruiting coverage during a leave of absence. The anticipated assignment is approximately 16 weeks, although the duration may be modified based on business needs. This position does not create an expectation of continued employment following completion of the temporary assignment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection
  • Manage assigned requisitions through the recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate follow-up, and offer support.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand role requirements, preferred qualifications, hiring timelines, interview process, and key priorities.
  • Post job openings and maintain accurate requisition information within Dayforce.
  • Review applications and resumes to identify candidates who meet the required and preferred qualifications for assigned roles.
  • Conduct phone screens and initial candidate assessments.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with relevant screening notes and candidate insights.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Support timely movement of candidates through the recruiting process.
  • Assist hiring managers with candidate review, feedback follow-up, and next-step coordination.
  • Support offer coordination and execution within approved guidelines and in partnership with Human Resources leadership.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Conduct reference checks on an as-needed basis.

Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Support
  • Use approved sourcing methods to attract qualified candidates for assigned positions.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines for current hiring needs.
  • Support sourcing efforts for high-priority, high-volume, or difficult-to-fill roles as directed by internal leadership.
  • Promote employment opportunities in a professional and consistent manner.
  • Represent the organization's culture, values, and employment brand in candidate interactions.
  • Participate in job fairs, career events, community outreach, or other recruiting activities as needed and approved.

Hiring Manager Partnership
  • Serve as a temporary recruiting point of contact for assigned hiring managers.
  • Provide regular updates regarding candidate activity, pipeline status, hiring progress, and next steps.
  • Reinforce established recruiting processes, hiring expectations, and candidate review timelines.
  • Help drive accountability for timely candidate reviews, interview feedback, and hiring decisions.
  • Communicate process delays, barriers, or hiring concerns to internal leadership.
  • Escalate hiring manager concerns, process exceptions, or complex recruiting situations as appropriate.

Education & Experience:
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Three or more years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, Human Resources, or related experience.
  • Experience reviewing applications, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Corporate Recruiter Platform and Indeed.
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions or hiring processes at one time.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems or recruiting technology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established processes.

Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple job families, levels, or locations.
  • Experience in property management, multifamily housing, customer service, maintenance, skilled trades, or operational hiring environments.
  • Experience using Dayforce or a similar applicant tracking system.
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS, or similar certification.
