The Executive Office of Health & Human Services Facilities department is actively searching for a Temporary Logistics Support Coordinator. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced working environment and will bring exceptional organizational and hands-on skills to the position. This temporary role is a key member of the logistics team and will occasionally lead certain large-scale relocations support as needed.
The Temporary Logistics Support Coordinator will liaise with agency staff, vendors, landlords, and EHS IT staff. The primary focus of this position is the ability to prioritize, organize and implement logistical projects in support of the EHS Facilities Client Support Manager. The Temporary Logistics Support Coordinator will have strong hand on skills and will be comfortable using tools such as cordless drills, levels, and tape measures. The Temporary Logistics Support Coordinator should be expected to lift 35 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all-inclusive):
Process incoming and outgoing daily mail throughout assigned building.
Deliver incoming packages from UPS, FedEx or other couriers services to agencies within the assigned building.
Set-up and breakdown conferences rooms as requested by agencies.
Set-up and breakdown office modular when required.
Travel to multiple sites as needed such as 1 Ashburton Place in Boston, 40 Broad Street in Boston and 100 Hancock Street in Quincy to assist with mailroom and logistical operations.
Work ability to work with multiple EHS agencies
Input data into the CA facilities ticket system
