Graphic Design Intern
Media & Marketing Department
Location: NJ (Multi-Site + Hybrid)
Position Overview
Alliance Orthopedics is a fast-growing, nine-location orthopedic practice in New Jersey building a media and
marketing infrastructure that rivals top-tier healthcare brands. Our in-house media team produces content across
social, digital, print, and clinical education channels, and we're looking for a design-minded intern who wants real
portfolio experience in a healthcare marketing environment.
The Graphic Design Intern will work directly with our Media Director and content creators to develop branded
visuals, social media graphics, patient-facing print materials, and internal culture assets.
Key Responsibilities
• Design social media graphics and carousel posts for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Create branded patient education flyers, brochures, and in-clinic signage
• Develop templates in Adobe Creative Suite aligned to the Alliance Orthopedics brand system
• Assist with event promotional materials (banners, programs, digital assets)
• Collaborate with the video and content teams on thumbnail design and motion graphics assets
• Support internal culture projects including branded apparel, posters, and presentations
• Maintain organized asset libraries and file delivery protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
• Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related degree program
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong foundational understanding of typography, color theory, and layout
• Familiarity with social media dimensions and digital content specs
• Ability to take creative direction and iterate based on feedback
• Portfolio or class work samples required at time of application
• Must be eligible to receive academic credit through your university
