Inventory Control - Cycle Counting

1st and 2nd Shift Available

Pay: $21-23/hr

Full-time and overtime


Position Summary:

The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a key role in supporting manufacturing execution by coordinating efforts across supervisors, planners, engineers, shifts, departments, and plants. This position ensures production schedules are met, materials and resources are available, and workflows run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with production management to maintain schedule adherence and prioritize production jobs based on deadlines and resource availability
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available for production
  • Monitor production progress on the floor and address bottlenecks or issues to support on-time completion
  • Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Maintain detailed records of production activities, job orders, inventory levels, and reports
  • Prepare and distribute production and inventory reports to stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within production workflows
  • Support KPI achievement and operational goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related experience, including 1+ year in manufacturing or inventory control
  • Strong understanding of production floor environments and inventory control processes
  • Knowledge of Just-In-Time (JIT) principles
  • Experience with production planning and material control software preferred
