Position Summary:


We are looking for a highly organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Control Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking inventory, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring accuracy of data. You will be a key part of our operations, working closely with our warehouse, inventory control team and sales teams to ensure that our inventory is managed efficiently. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

  • Works closely with all departments' inventory ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Reviews negative quantity in location report and ensures all errors are investigated and corrected.
  • Assists with investigating and reporting customer concerns.
  • Responsible for regular bay counting.
  • Issues parts to orders and investigates all applicable errors.
  • Closes manufacturing orders when completed.
  • Enters RA's and MRS'.
  • Makes scrap entry for scrap tickets to relieve inventory.
  • Reviews IA's from previous day's cycle counting via the Detail Count Variance Report.
  • Acts as a backup to the Cycle Counter.
  • Assists with processing customer orders when needed.
  • Investigates and corrects all reported inventory errors.
  • Responsible for working in accordance with our documented Quality System and for ensuring that products and services meet the customer's specified requirements.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area using the 5S process and follows all safety policies and procedures.
  • May be required by management to perform other reasonable work-related tasks.
  • May be required to work different shifts, hours, overtime and weekends if needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma /GED or equivalent experience, and minimum of 3 years warehouse experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP programs and reports, bar coding systems and wireless device strongly preferred.
  • Must be attentive to detail, results oriented, and able to work with numbers including reading, recording, and counting large quantities accurately.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff.
  • Must be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, as well as effectively work as a team.
  • Previous Hi-lo license preferred, may be required to obtain hi-lo license within 1-month of employment if required.
