ABOUT THE ROLE
The Cycle Count Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records of raw materials and finished goods within a manufacturing facility. This position performs scheduled cycle counts, investigates inventory discrepancies, and collaborates with Production, Receiving, Shipping, Purchasing, and Quality teams to ensure inventory accuracy and support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cycle Counting
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and production supplies.
  • Verify inventory quantities, locations, lot numbers, serial numbers, and material status within the ERP or warehouse management system.
  • Research, analyze, and reconcile inventory discrepancies by reviewing inventory transactions, production reporting, receipts, transfers, and shipments.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Shipping, Receiving, and Purchasing to identify and resolve inventory variances.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Perform approved inventory adjustments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and identify trends or recurring issues affecting inventory integrity.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual physical inventories.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of cycle count results, inventory adjustments, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency.

Outbound Processing:
  • Work with Shipping & Receiving to transfer completed finished goods to staging, investigate inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records throughout the material flow process.
  • Prepare weekly transfers of finished goods to distribution center, including creating systematic transactions, verifying physical inventory, and packing and palletizing items.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management or material handling preferred
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic math and computer proficiency; willingness to learn new systems and RF devices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to read labels and follow written instructions accurately
