Title: HR Data Analyst
Location: Huntsville, AL

Duration: 6 Months (For the right individual could be temp/hire)

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
โ€ข Currently pursuing or completed Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
โ€ข Proficiency in Power BI (preferred), or experience with other data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Looker).
โ€ข The candiadate should be able to take the data and is very proficiect with PowerBI and can then input that into the system and present it to managment but also have the HR experiance of it as well.
โ€ข Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
โ€ข Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication abilities.
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and professionalism, especially with sensitive HR data.
โ€ข Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and problem-solve effectively.
โ€ข Passionate about employee experience and data-driven decision-making.
โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and highly organized
There is a growing need for our local People & Culture (P&C) team to bring on an intern, Co-Op or contractor who could potentially transition into a full-time P&C HR Analyst role in the future at HPP base upon the plant's gorwth. This support will help us better prepare for future initiatives by handling both routine tasks and contributing to strategic projects aimed at enhancing how we support our frontline teams and internal partners. A key area of focus for this role will be in reporting and data analysis, particularly leveraging tools like Power BI.
1. Data Analysis (Primary Focus)
โ€ข Collect, clean, and maintain HR datasets (e.g., employee records, engagement surveys, headcount, turnover, performance).
โ€ข Develop and update interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
โ€ข Analyze workforce data to identify trends in hiring, attrition, DEI, and employee experience.
โ€ข Collaborate with P&C stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
โ€ข Ensure data accuracy through validation and quality control processes.
โ€ข Support reporting for Time & Attendance, vacation tracking, and scheduling.
2. Communication & Reporting
โ€ข Translate complex data into clear visualizations, summaries, and presentations.
โ€ข Assist in drafting P&C updates, internal newsletters, and executive presentation decks.
โ€ข Design infographics and one-pagers to highlight key HR initiatives for communication boards.
โ€ข Support internal campaigns related to engagement, learning & development, and DEI.
โ€ข Participate in New Hire Orientation, employee committees, and plant events.
โ€ข Handling all communications in the plant and then maintaining Power BI and building reports and presentations.ย 
Minimum Requirements
โ€ข Currently enrolled in a Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s program.
โ€ข Completion of junior year or higher..
