Human Resources Generalist (Temporary Leave Coverage)

Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually

Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking a full-time, temporary Human Resources professional to cover parental leave. The assignment will be from approximately mid-September 2026 until early-April 2027. This is a hybrid position.

Job Description
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, including tracking and processing new hire paperwork
  • Respond to employee inquiries using the shared Human Resources email account
  • Compile payroll information and generate reports using ADP Workforce Now
  • Assist with benefits administration
  • Complete additional projects as needed
  • Experience working in Human Resources or a related field
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working with and HRIS/payroll system
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with employee onboarding and benefits administration
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Google Workspace
