We are seeking a(an) Respiratory Therapist CRT for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

Under general supervision initiates, assesses, and evaluates all forms of respiratory therapy including bronchodilators, chest physical therapy, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive and invasive ventilator care. Exercises technical knowledge in respiratory anatomy, physiology, and pathology as well as the design and operations of all respiratory therapy equipment. The RCP demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to neonates, infants, children, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Position Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a staff position preferred.

Education:

Current permanent or temporary license issued by the Texas Department of Health to practice Respiratory Care. RRT/RCP

Special Qualifications:

Possesses knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of the patients served.

Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Anyone assigned to PICU must maintain current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.

Anyone assigned to NICU must maintain current NRP certification from the American Heart Association.
