Job description

We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development who understands the golf industry from the inside out — someone who has built authentic relationships with superintendents, operators, management groups, ownership organizations, golf associations, and technology partners across the industry.

This role extends beyond traditional sales leadership. The Vice President of Business Development will play a central role in expanding ezLocator’s strategic industry presence by:

  • Driving new customer acquisition

  • Strengthening existing partner relationships

  • Identifying and securing new integration and technology partnerships

  • Helping position ezLocator as a core operational platform within the connected golf technology ecosystem

The ideal candidate understands that long-term enterprise value in golf technology is built through trust, relationships, integrations, and consistent execution — not short-term sales tactics.

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated industry professional who wants meaningful ownership, long-term upside, and the ability to directly influence the growth trajectory of a respected and growing company.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across individual clubs, management groups, and multi-course operators

  • Build and manage a disciplined, qualified sales pipeline with measurable milestones and accountability

  • Expand ezLocator’s strategic partnership network across golf technology, OEM, GPS, operational software, and management platform providers

  • Strengthen and grow existing industry relationships with partners

  • Identify and pursue new integration opportunities that expand ezLocator’s market reach and operational ecosystem

  • Represent ezLocator at industry events, customer visits, regional conferences, and strategic partner meetings

  • Help shape long-term go-to-market initiatives alongside executive leadership

Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers and industry stakeholders

  • Serve as a trusted ambassador for ezLocator within the golf technology and agronomy communities

  • Work directly with superintendents, general managers, directors of agronomy, ownership groups, and operational leadership teams

  • Ensure customers view ezLocator as a long-term strategic partner, not simply a software vendor

  • Maintain a strong industry presence through active networking and relationship development

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with product development and operations teams to ensure alignment between customer expectations and product delivery

  • Provide clear, candid market feedback that helps shape product direction and strategic priorities

  • Support onboarding, customer retention, and strategic account growth initiatives as needed within a lean, collaborative environment

  • Contribute to the company’s broader strategic planning and growth initiatives

Experience

  • 7+ years of successful business development, sales, or account management experience with measurable results

  • Direct experience within or closely adjacent to the golf industry strongly preferred

  • Proven track record of developing long-term relationships and closing strategic business opportunitie

Industry Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the golf industry ecosystem, including superintendents, club operators, management groups, associations, and technology providers

  • Familiarity with how golf facilities budget, evaluate technology investments, and make purchasing decisions

  • Understanding of integration partnerships and connected technology ecosystems within golf operations

  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles involving operational leaders, ownership groups, and multi-property organizations

  • Background in golf technology, SaaS, operational platforms, GPS systems, turf technology, or related industries is highly desirable

Company Description

ezLocator is a focused, operationally driven golf technology company that has spent the past 17 years earning the trust of golf course operators, superintendents, management groups, and industry leaders across the game. Our software solutions are designed to solve real operational challenges — improving efficiency, agronomics, communication, and the golfer experience through practical, data-driven technology.
At the core of the company is ezLocator’s patented hole location management platform, trusted by leading clubs and golf operations throughout North America and internationally. Over time, ezLocator has expanded its technology portfolio to support a broader vision of connected golf operations, helping facilities make smarter operational decisions while integrating seamlessly into the technologies they already use every day.
We believe the future of golf technology is not built through isolated software products, but through strategic partnerships and integrated operational platforms that improve how facilities operate across the property.
Over the past several years, ezLocator has developed relationships and integration initiatives with respected industry organizations and technology providers, including Club Car, E-Z-GO, GolfLogix, Toro, taskTracker, Clubessential, ForeTees, and Jonas Club Software.
Our next phase of growth will come not only from expanding our customer footprint, but also from strengthening existing partnerships and building new strategic relationships that further position ezLocator as a connected operational platform within the golf industry.
We are a disciplined company with a long-term vision, strong industry credibility, and a reputation for consistently delivering value year after year.
