Get to Know the Role:
Todd Snyder is seeking a highly analytical and driven FP&A Analyst to join our team for a temporary maternity leave coverage assignment in merchandise planning. In this role, you will be an embedded expert within our Merchandise Planning department.
You won't just be pulling reports; you will be a strategic partner. Your primary mission will be to translate complex data into actionable insights, helping our team optimize inventory, forecast accurately, and ultimately grow the Todd Snyder business.
This is an incredible opportunity for someone with a few years of corporate finance experience-or a consultant looking to transition into an in-house brand role-to make an immediate, highly visible impact at a premier menswear brand.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide strategic partnership to the Merchandise Planning team, providing quantitative backing to their strategic decisions.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize complex financial models, Open-to-Buy (OTB) processes, and inventory forecasts to support business growth.
  • Provide Data Analysis & Reporting by deep diving into weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales trends, margin performance, and inventory health.
  • Identify opportunity for process Improvement, support team with streamlining existing reporting processes, making data more accessible and actionable for non-financial team members.
  • Provide Ad-Hoc Analytics as requested/needed. Field fast-paced requests from the merchandising team and cross-functional partners to analyze pricing scenarios, promotional impacts, and strategies.
  • Be responsible for a category within Merchandise Planning

What You Bring:
  • 2-4 years of experience in management consulting, corporate FP&A, or a rigorous data analytics role. This is a great opportunity for consultants looking to gain hands-on, in-house experience with a great brand.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, ability to craft complex formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, and dynamic modeling.
  • Past success working cross functionally within an organization to achieve objectives
  • Ability to be proactive and work autonomously.
  • Past Merchandise Planning experience, not required but preferred
  • Past Specialty Retail experience preferred

  • Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
