Job description

DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Manager within our AFLCMC/HBG group. The C2ISR Division is responsible for a diverse portfolio that provides "cradle-to grave" support for the U-2 aircraft, E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) aircraft, Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS), the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) system and other C2ISR programs as they transition to sustainment. The C2ISR Division provides worldwide life cycle support across the spectrum of the C2ISR capabilities based enterprise, including supply, distribution, materiel management, acquisition, system engineering and maintenance, financial planning and budgeting, security, flight test, and contracting functions. The Global Network Systems (GNS) Branch (AFLCMC/ HBGW), located at Hanscom AFB, MA, is one of the numerous branches within the C2ISR Division and reports directly to the C2ISR/HBG Senior Materiel Leader. EPASS support is required to execute the major GNS programs in support of the C2ISR Division, to include AF DCGS Network Infrastructure Transformation (NIT), Extended Tether Program (ETP), and Global Command and Control System - Air Force Infrastructure (GCCS-AF (I)).

The candidate will provide Systems Engineering assistance that applies a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of system engineering to the acquisition process. The candidate will also provide engineering support in the design, operation, and sustainment of systems and components that cover tasks throughout the acquisition life cycle (requirements analysis through system disposal).

This is a full time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.

This role will provide Test Manager support for test planning, validation, and verification activities. The position ensures compliance with DoD, Air Force, HB, and AFLCMC test plans, policies, instructions, and procedures while supporting test execution across varying program phases, including development and sustainment cycles.

This role will also support test reporting through documentation of test events and conduct technical reviews of engineering documentation to ensure system performance and requirements are validated.

Essential Job Functions:

Test Planning & Documentation

Prepare test plans and procedures supporting program test activities.

Develop Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs).

Prepare and review test analyses and reports.

Develop Test & Evaluation (T&E) segments of acquisition documentation.

Test Execution & Monitoring

Monitor and support execution of test events.

Support certification testing activities, including Joint Interoperability Test Center testing.

Support training required to execute test activities.

Support execution of test cases, evaluations, and demonstrations.

Support collection of test data during developmental and operational test events.

Technical Review & Analysis

Review and analyze design documentation, including engineering drawings and specifications.

Review and analyze engineering performance and technical analysis reports.

Review and analyze measures of effectiveness and measures of suitability.

Review and analyze engineering performance predictions.

Review and analyze trade-off studies.

Support Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA).

Teach test engineering and test management courses as required.

Required Skills: 

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret level Clearance.

Bachelor's or master's Degree in a professional engineering discipline, 8 years of directly related experience with 5 years in a DoD setting.

Test Manager's Course certification or course completion desired.

Experience with Agile methods, including testing methods for CI/CD, DevSecOps and DevOps.

Experience with DoD Test and Processes.

Understanding of cloud architectures and impacts to testing methods.

Salary Range: $96,757-$120,000
