This role is ideal for a senior PR professional who thrives on leading client work, developing junior talent, and driving results across complex, fast-moving accounts. Responsibilities
• Set the daily tone and pace for account work - prioritizing objectives, delegating to team members, and holding quality standards across all client deliverables.
• Staff accounts appropriately, working with VP/SVP to align workload with team capacity and scope of work.
• Own projects from start to finish, working independently of VP/SVP oversight where appropriate.
• Serve as a clear, direct communicator across the team - keeping all members aligned, collaborative, and accountable.
• Lead high-impact media outreach and own media strategy for assigned accounts, handling the most complex media work while delegating according to team skills and abilities.
• Mentor and develop junior staff in a constructive, positive way. Be the person team members turn to for guidance, career counsel, and honest feedback.
• Act as the senior day-to-day point of contact for clients - fielding inquiries, offering strategic counsel, and maintaining strong relationships.
• Oversee final review and delivery of press releases, blog posts, media pitches, and social media content.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, media monitoring and outreach, content drafting and client intelligence - and actively develop your fluency with AI as part of the role.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency across productivity and collaboration tools.
• Contribute to firm culture - generating ideas for training, leading sessions, and representing the firm at client and industry events.
• Play an active role in Gregory's marketing and new business efforts.
Education
• Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, or a related field.
Experience and skills
• Six to eight years of PR experience.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, and standard productivity tools.
• Working knowledge of AI tools and how they support communications work.
• Strong team player, leader, and mentor.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Self-motivated with a clear sense of ownership.
