Retail Store Manager
Atlético Dallas | USL Championship
Maximum 35 Hours Per Week
Position Summary
Atlético Dallas is seeking an experienced, organized, and service-driven Retail Store Manager to oversee all retail operations for the club. This role will manage day-to-day team store activities, drive merchandise sales, deliver an exceptional fan experience, and ensure efficient execution of both in-person and online retail operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about soccer, retail management, and building a strong supporter-focused environment that reflects the Atlético Dallas brand.
This position has a maximum schedule of 35 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations
• Manage all daily operations of the Atlético Dallas team store and retail locations on matchdays and special events
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, cleanliness, organization, and customer service
• Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandise receiving procedures
• Monitor retail performance metrics and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability
• Coordinate staffing schedules and supervise part-time retail staff and game-day employees
E-Commerce & Fulfillment
• Responsible for online order fulfillment, including processing, packing, shipping, and tracking customer orders
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all e-commerce purchases
• Manage customer service inquiries related to online orders, exchanges, and returns
• Maintain inventory accuracy across retail and e-commerce platforms
Inventory & Logistics
• Responsible for inventory transfers across event and retail locations
• Track and reconcile merchandise movement between stadium, retail, storage, and pop-up locations
• Monitor product performance and recommend reorder strategies based on sales trends
Matchday & Event Responsibilities
• Lead retail operations during home matches and club events
• Set up and manage temporary retail kiosks or pop-up locations as needed
• Ensure efficient point-of-sale operations and cash handling procedures
• Deliver a first-class fan shopping experience on game days
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent retail management experience
• 2-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or apparel industries
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and online order fulfillment operations
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and matchdays
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
• Passion for soccer and fan engagement strongly preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 12 months
• Capable and comfortable driving cargo van style vehicles
Preferred Skills
• Experience managing sports merchandise or team store operations
• Knowledge of Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
• Ability to analyze sales data and inventory trends
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a huge plus
