Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter / Account Manager with a strong background in day labor/event staffing to support high-volume, fast-paced workforce needs. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, client relationship management, and on-site coordination for events and short-term labor assignments. The ideal candidate can quickly mobilize staff and has a proven ability to manage both clients and temporary workforces simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

RECRUITER

  • Source, screen, and hire event staff (e.g., general labor, setup/teardown crews, etc.)
  • Maintain a ready-to-deploy talent pool for rapid staffing needs
  • Conduct interviews, onboarding, and ensure completion of all employment documentation
  • Manage scheduling, call-offs, and last-minute replacements
  • Maintain organized records of employees and assignments
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and company policies

ACCOUNT MANAGER / EVENT MANAGER

  • Coordinate and deploy staff for events
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client needs (implied from role alignment)
  • Conduct on-site check-in/check-out, time tracking, and supervision as needed
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time (no-shows, performance concerns, client requests)
  • Ensure staff adhere to client expectations, safety protocols, and dress code requirements
  • Track hours, attendance, and ensure accurate timesheet submission
  • Maintain organized records of client interactions

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, and account management
  • Direct experience with day labor, event staffing, or high-volume temporary workforce management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and staffing requests simultaneously
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency with MS Office and/or staffing/scheduling systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
