Job description

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to support the Temporary Healthcare Agencies Registration Data Collection project for NYS ITS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Power Platform applications, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, and Dataverse solutions in a Microsoft-based environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing scalable Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps
  • Automating business processes using Power Automate workflows
  • Managing enterprise Dataverse environments with large datasets and secure architecture
  • Developing secure Power Pages portals with responsive design and authentication integration
  • Integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and REST APIs
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using PAC CLI, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps
  • Designing and optimizing Power BI dashboards with DAX and embedded analytics
  • Performing application debugging, unit testing, system integration testing, and production support
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Creating technical documentation, user manuals, and knowledge transfer materials


Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience with advanced Power Apps development and scalable architecture

  • 4+ years of experience with Power BI dashboard development and analytics
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare or public sector application development
