Overview

We are seeking a Solution Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions that enable mission-critical business processes within a federal environment. This role serves as the technical authority for Dynamics 365 architecture, configuration, customization, and integration, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives and government requirements.

The Solution Architect works closely with government stakeholders, program leadership, developers, and functional analysts to translate business needs into effective technical solutions while providing technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle. This role is responsible for guiding solution design, overseeing system integrations and data migration efforts, supporting testing and deployment activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable federal security and accessibility standards.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform with strong communication and leadership skills to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions that support mission success.

Contributions
  • Serve as the primary SME for Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, configuration, and customization decisions
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with government stakeholders to translate business needs into Dynamics solutions
  • Design, configure, and customize Dynamics 365 modules
  • Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, plugins, Power Automate flows, and custom entities
  • Oversee data migration, integration, and interoperability between Dynamics 365 and other federal systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal security frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, Section 508)
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and functional analysts
  • Support system testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
  • Document system design, configurations, and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent experience considered) preferred
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one Dynamics 365 module (CE/CRM, F&O, or Power Platform)
  • Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse, plugin development, and API integrations
  • Prior experience supporting federal government clients or contracts
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to government stakeholders

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification(s) (e.g., MB-200, MB-210, MB-400, PL-200)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Familiarity with federal accessibility (Section 508) and security compliance requirements
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for work item tracking and CI/CD pipelines
