Job Description
As a Senior Solution Architect, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, you will serve as the strategic leader responsible for shaping, governing, and delivering enterprise-scale business transformation solutions built on Microsoft technologies. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, business leaders, delivery teams, and Microsoft partners to define solution strategies that align business objectives with scalable, secure, and future-ready technology architectures. This role is grounded in enterprise solution leadership and customer advisory services while maintaining deep expertise across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience across Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance business processes and can translate complex operational requirements into integrated solution designs that deliver measurable business value. You will lead architecture discussions from presales through post-go-live, ensuring continuity of vision, architectural integrity, and successful business outcomes throughout the engagement lifecycle.
In this role, you will guide large-scale transformation programs by defining solution blueprints, driving architecture governance, and overseeing critical program strategies including application lifecycle management, environment planning, integrations, data migration, security, deployment readiness, and testing approaches. You will partner with project and delivery leaders to identify risks, establish technical direction, and ensure solutions remain aligned with client objectives, contractual commitments, and long-term technology roadmaps.
You will also be expected to operate across the broader Microsoft ecosystem, helping clients leverage complementary technologies such as Power Platform, Azure services, Power BI, Copilot capabilities, data platforms, and customer engagement solutions to create end-to-end business solutions that extend beyond ERP boundaries.
Success in this role requires exceptional executive communication skills and the ability to build trusted-advisor relationships with senior business and technology leaders. You will confidently facilitate workshops, present architectural recommendations to executive audiences, lead solution reviews, manage escalations, and influence strategic decision-making by clearly communicating business value, options, tradeoffs, and implementation considerations.
As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to business growth through presales activities, solution envisioning, estimation, proposal support, and customer presentations. You will partner with account teams to identify new opportunities, shape solution strategies, and support pursuit efforts while simultaneously providing leadership across active delivery engagements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 10+ years of ERP consulting or solution architecture experience, including at least 5+ years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Proven experience leading at least five full-cycle enterprise-scale ERP implementations with responsibility for overall solution architecture and delivery guidance.
  • Deep functional expertise spanning multiple business domains including Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Demonstrated experience defining and governing enterprise architecture strategies including integrations, data migration, security, environment management, deployment planning, and application lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of the broader Microsoft Cloud ecosystem, including Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure services, DevOps, Copilot capabilities, and integrations between Dynamics 365 applications.
  • Strong executive presence with experience facilitating workshops, engaging C-level stakeholders, conducting presales activities, developing solution proposals, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout complex business transformation programs.
  • Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations certifications such as MB-700 / MB-600 including AI Business Solutions certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Experience evaluating, integrating, and governing third-party ISV solutions and intellectual property within Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
