Job description

This is a part-time, temporary position.

The Driver of Fox Cities will ensure food items and various other donations and purchased products are picked up and delivered to the appropriate location(s).

About the role:

This is a part time(mornings) position responsible for picking up and delivering donated and purchased goods Monday through Friday (will be a split week with other part time drivers). Driver responsibilities include loading and unloading the items. During the Christmas season, additional pick up/delivery will include items such as coats, boxes, kettles, etc. as directed.

  • Pickup and delivery of donated and purchased goods
  • Load and unload donated and purchased goods
  • Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of trucks
  • Complete daily vehicle safety check
  • Confirm pickup/delivery times as needed
  • Fuel delivery trucks as needed
  • Complete donated food pick-up reports
  • Assist with Christmas food/toy pick-ups and kettle collections
  • Supervise volunteers assisting with pick-ups and deliveries

Education: High School diploma or its equivalent

Experience:Past trucking experience helpful

Certifications: Valid WI driver's license with approval to drive from The Salvation Army's insurance.
