Job description

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a meticulous and efficient Temporary Document Scanner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately digitizing physical documents, ensuring that all files are properly scanned, organized, and stored within our digital systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational clerical skills while supporting the overall document management process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary 4-8 week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm position, and pay will be $15 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Operate scanning equipment to convert paper documents into digital formats with precision and care
  • Verify the quality and completeness of scanned images, making adjustments as necessary
  • Organize and categorize digital files according to established filing systems and protocols
  • Enter relevant data into databases, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information during the scanning and data entry processes
  • Assist with filing, data collection, and record management tasks as needed
  • Support the team in managing office supplies related to document processing and organization
  • Follow established procedures for document handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with company policies
