Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a company in the northwest suburbs with a search for an accountant. This is a temporary to hire role and onsite. They are looking for someone who can work well with a team and contribute to month end close as well as long term goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts
  • Provide information and analysis for financial reporting
  • Discrepancy resolution
  • Adjusting entries
  • Support audit activities
  • Special projects and ad hoc reporting
Required:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accountant role
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting
  • Must be very detailed and analytical
Pay: $34-$42/hour
Pay Details: $34.00 to $42.00 per hour
