Job description

As the Senior Demand Planning Manager here at Honeywell, you will you will be managing demand and asset planning in a manufacturing environment for Honeywell's Business Unit. You will be a key driver of demand and asset planning within our vibrant manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the development of a high-quality Demand forecast critical for Supply Planning and Financial Forecasting.

Leading the demand planning team, your role is instrumental in meeting customer requirements and aligning with operational business objectives. You will oversee executive demand plan reviews across various departments, collaborate with the SIOP process team, and actively contribute to sales forecast analysis and production planning. Your strategic input in supply chain optimization projects and collaboration with leadership for planning processes will shape the future of demand planning at Honeywell.

Your strategic involvement in sales forecast analysis, production planning, and supply chain optimization projects ensures that we not only meet customer requirements but also stay ahead of market dynamics. By presenting key performance metrics and demand forecasts to Leadership, you contribute to informed decision-making and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop executive and subdemand plan reviews and function as the project manager with all areas of the business from sales, CBMs, engineering, installation, and planning
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the demand planning team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
  • Partner with SIOP process team and supply planners to facilitate maximum customer satisfaction, stakeholder satisfaction, and financial performance
  • Create, maintain, and analyze sales forecast and production plans at the account level globally for products and equipment
  • Conduct formal forecast reviews with Global Sales and Business to analyze, measure, and improve forecast accuracy
  • Design and implement necessary supply chain optimization projects
  • Work with leadership for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Planning Process (STRAP) processes
  • Process data, identify problematic areas, and consolidate the opportunities into a single forecast for supply chain action
  • Take ownership of the preparation and presentation of regular reports on key performance metrics
  • Use your insights to guide the team in making data-backed decisions and improvements in the demand planning process
  • Present demand forecast to leadership at monthly meetings

MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of planning, materials, sourcing, or other related supply chain experience
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing teams.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Strong process orientation and experience in planning
  • Advanced MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain/Logistics/Engineering
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems
  • Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module, Forecast Pro).
  • Certification in supply chain management (APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF)
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate.
  • Ability to collaborate with both internal and external customers.
