Job Description Summary
A temporary employee position is one created and intended to exist for less than one thousand four hundred fifty (1,450) hours in any calendar year. Temporary employees have no seniority, grievance, or appeal privileges. Temporary employees shall have no benefits except as required by law. Temporary/Seasonal employees do not qualify for sick, holiday, or vacation pay. Paychecks are issued bi-weekly.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience/Skills Desired:
Dependability, ability to work under strict deadlines, and a capability and willingness to maintain a commitment to the department. Basic computer skills; Knowledge of basic criminal justice terminology concepts and methodologies is preferred.
The successful candidate must be able to pass an extensive criminal history background check.
