Essential Duties:
Review new claims to determine coverage and contact all parties within 1 business day of claim assignment
Conduct liability investigations by obtaining statements, gathering and reviewing evidence such as photos, videos and police reports
Composing letters and preparing forms
Evaluating property damage and bodily injury claims
Negotiating settlements of property damage and bodily injury claims
Assist other adjusters with claim handling as directed by management
Requirements:
Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
Experience handling property damage and bodily injury claims
Good communication and organizational skills
Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
