Job description

LaSalle Network is partnering with a global retail marketing organization, to bring on a Billing Specialist to support their team during a high-volume billing cycle.
Position Overview:
This role will focus on accurate invoice processing, reconciliation, and month-end support while partnering closely with internal account teams and offshore partners. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals looking to grow within a structured, fast-paced environment.
Billing Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Support high-volume client billing by reviewing dashboards, billing notes, and preparing accurate invoices in line with established guidelines
  • Assist with billing analysis, reconciliations, and ledger reviews to identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately
  • Partner with internal Account Teams and offshore partners (EXL and OGS) to resolve billing questions and ensure alignment on client requirements
  • Support month-end close activities including accruals, WIP reviews, unbilled A/R analysis, and related reporting support

What's Needed:
  • 1-2 years of accounting, billing, or finance experience with a strong foundational understanding of accounting principles
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong Excel skills including formulas, data validation, and reconciliation work
  • Experience with billing, invoicing, reconciliations, or ERP systems (JD Edwards / AS400)
