Job description

General Description:
Supplemental Health Care is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Benefits Coordinator to support our Benefits team during a high-volume period. This role is primarily responsible for data entry, data cleanup, employee support, and benefits-related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, comfortable working with sensitive personal information, and able to provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform high-volume data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Maintain employee records, enrollment information, and eligibility data within HR, carrier, and vendor systems.
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment processes via phone.
  • Complete benefit enrollment activities, including manual enrollments, coverage changes, and distribution of enrollment confirmations.
  • Triage incoming calls, emails, and requests, ensuring issues are directed to the appropriate team member.
  • Handle confidential employee, health, and benefits information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Support the Benefits team with various administrative tasks.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Talents
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of administrative, customer service, HR, call center or related experience working in an over-the-phone support role required.
  • Benefits administration experience a plus
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
