Job Description:

BENEFITS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

  • Professionally handle email inquiries from other team members and external contacts.
  • Process daily files and perform updates in the internal benefits system.
  • Process daily enrollments with insurance carriers and other third parties.
  • Support data entry initiatives including daily tasks and project-related efforts.
  • Perform timely resolution departmental tickets related to data entry and eligibility.
  • Process inbound payments in a timely and organized manner.
  • Process inbound forms and mail requests.
  • Maintain files of processed requests either of a paper or digital format with precise organization and accuracy.
  • Handle inbound mail related to benefits administration for Baker Tilly Vantagen clients and their members.
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree preferred, 2 years experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational and communications abilities (written and oral)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage the daily slate of work deliverables to completion
  • Ability to take direction and perform well in small work groups/teams
  • A valid driver's license is required for minimal travel using a personal vehicle
  • Work is full time on-site in our Clarks Summit Location
The pay rate range for this job position is $15.97 to $28.25. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
