The role

Fringe Benefit Plans seeks a seasoned, passionate, and dynamic sales professional to grow our Employee Health and Benefits practice. This role is high-profile and key to our aggressive growth plans. The Producer is responsible for prospecting for new account sales leads, achieving sales goals, and supporting existing accounts. In this critical role, the Producer becomes an extension of our clients Human Resources teams providing support, insights, and value that enable those clients to improve their businesses.


An ideal candidate will consider culture, risks, and benefit plan design to understand the components of a prospects benefits costs. Next, they implement strategies to improve employee health, costs, value, and job satisfaction. Our Producers deliver value by making health benefits complexity simple, supporting clients issues, and helping them achieve higher ROI from their benefits investments.

What you will do

  • Actively find new prospects through networking, association participation, and events. Our best client leads come from our Producers proactive outreach.
  • Develop new opportunities through networking, prospecting, in-person meetings, presentations, and association events
  • Organize and execute a comprehensive sales plan to effectively contact with target prospects
  • Educate our clients on risks, potential consequences, new trends, and benefits business advantages
  • Participate in FBPs training and development to become the expert in identifying and minimizing client risks and driving measurable improvement to their business
  • Collaborate with talented team members to develop solutions that move prospects through the sales process and win clients business
  • Leverage business acumen and talents to grow FBP revenue and build your book of business
  • Remain current on the ever-changing landscape of employee benefits to deliver valuable insights, compliance guidance, and quality support to our clients
  • Partner with our client relationship team to ensure consistent client communication and service

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant Enterprise Sales and strategic customer development experience
  • Minimum of 10 years successful experience as a direct contributor carrying an individual quota
  • Sales experience in corporate benefits sales and track record managing a large book of business is highly desirable
  • Outstanding executive presence, communication skills, and credibility
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Skilled at accurate forecasting and articulating complex business conditions and challenges
