Tinker Federal Credit Union's Real Estate Lending Department has an immediate opening for a Mortgage Support Agent - Temporary! This is an exciting opportunity to join the largest and best credit union in Oklahoma. This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 90 days, with potential for extension or full-time hire based on performance and company need. As a Mortgage Support Agent - Temporary, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist members primarily through inbound telephone calls, providing support to those seeking information from the Real Estate Lending (REL) department.
  • Handle a wide range of mortgage-related inquiries, including purchase programs, product options, interest rates, pre-loan applications, payment questions, and general customer support.
  • Apply basic knowledge of industry regulations and current trends to ensure accurate and effective assistance.
  • Enables members to successfully utilize TFCU's REL services and work toward their financial goals.

Salary Range:
This is a non-exempt position. The starting hourly rate is $19.25 per hour; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Education/Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. At least one year of recent experience in the mortgage industry is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  1. Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU's chosen authority.
  1. NMLS, SAFE Act registration required.
Keys to success:
In order to be successful as a Mortgage Support Agent - Temporary you must possess these qualifications:
  1. Abilities to obtain and apply knowledge of TFCU's policies and procedures, products and services.
  1. Ability to quote rates for all loan types including home equities.
  1. Working knowledge of different types of mortgage types.
  1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  1. Familiarity with Encompass Software.
  1. Ability to adapt to the TFCU phone system and how to correctly utilize it.
  1. Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment.
