BILLING & ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR

We need an organized, skilled, and dedicated Billing & Accounting Coordinator in our new beautiful downtown Reno location. This is an onsite position. This position is full time for 40 hours per week, and this individual will be eligible for our generous benefits package while assuming responsibility for the following:
Job Summary:
The Billing & Accounting Coordinator provides accounting and administrative support for Dunham Trust Company, with primary responsibility for overseeing the client billing process for the Trust and Guardian divisions. This position ensures the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, client invoicing, and account administration while supporting the Operations team with a variety of accounting and administrative functions.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable/receivable for the Trust and Guardian divisions.
  • Process outgoing ACH transfers, wire transfers, checks, and other client disbursements.
  • Prepare and generate invoices for Guardian and Case Management services.
  • Complete discharge accountings and facilitate the closing of client accounts.
  • Process incoming client payments and apply them accurately.
  • Assist with the review and verification of daily financial transactions.
  • Maintain electronic records by filing documentation in Laserfiche.
  • Reconcile credit card expenses and mileage reimbursements and allocate charges to appropriate client accounts.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for special projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • This position is based in our downtown Reno office and requires regular on-site work.

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Provide administrative support to other team members as needed.

Education Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
Preferred
  • Associate degree (A.A.) in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field
Experience Required
  • Two to three years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, or a similar accounting support role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred
  • Bookkeeping experience.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Experience working in financial services, trust administration, legal services, or a professional services environment.

Salary DOE $23 to $28 per hour
Trust services offered through Dunham Trust, an independent trust company licensed and regulated by the State of Nevada, Department of Business and Industry, Financial Institution Division. Dunham Private Trust is the Wyoming division of Dunham Trust.
Dunham offers a complete benefits package to full-time employees who regularly work more than 30 hours per week. Interns and temporary employees are not eligible for these benefits.
