This position requires in-office presence at our Jersey City, New Jersey headquarters five days per week. Daily work includes hands-on desktop support, conference room technology checks, and equipment logistics for new hires, so a strong in-person, customer-facing presence is essential.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage equipment inventory and handle shipping and receiving, including imaging and preparing devices for new hires.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding with device provisioning and collection.

  • Respond to and resolve daily IT tickets for user access, devices, software, and network connectivity.
  • Provide support for email, collaboration tools, and identity and access management, including account provisioning, password resets, and MFA.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, access, and wireless connectivity issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers.
  • Set up and configure end-user devices and handle mobile device management (MDM) tasks, including enrollment, compliance, and troubleshooting.
  • Work with the Infrastructure team on system maintenance, patching, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Document solutions and maintain knowledge base articles, and keep a high standard of professionalism and customer service.

Projects
  • Take on onsite projects and hands-on initiatives as needed, such as equipment rollouts, device refreshes, and office moves.
  • Identify recurring issues and support process, automation, and user experience improvements.

The ideal candidate:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 2 to 4+ years of IT support experience in a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting email systems, collaboration platforms, and identity and access management tools.
  • Strong understanding of account provisioning, password resets, and MFA troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting network connectivity and wireless access in corporate environments.
  • Working knowledge of device management tools for Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems.
  • Experience with conference room technology and onsite hardware support.
  • Familiarity with endpoint protection and security awareness practices.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment for setup, shipping, and receiving.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with clear communication for both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tickets, manage time, and follow up to resolution.
  • Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with infrastructure and security teams on escalations and projects.
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL (preferred).
