Hours: This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week/ 8:30am-5pm)
Pay: $25.00 per hour

Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Full-time Financial Coordinator for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:
Under supervision of the Associate Director of Business and Finance, the Financial Coordinator provides oversight of transactional and financial operations, accounting, and administrative support in the Bienen School of Music Office of the Associate Dean for Administration, Finance and Planning.
Duties include being point of contact for faculty, staff, guest performers and vendors, managing payment and financial transaction processes, applying industry and professional standards, university policy and procedure, federal and state laws and other regulations (as applicable). Additional duties may include screening calls and visitors, and general administrative support to the Associate Dean for Administration, Finance and Planning of the Bienen School of Music.
Qualifications Required:
Minimum:
  • 3-5 years of financial experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment
Preferred:
  • Previous experience utilizing NU Financials or similar software
  • Previous experience working with musicians/artists and/or non-profit industry experience
