Description
Position Summary: Grounds Crew is a concert and event-based part-time position employed by Music Event Management Incorporated (MEMI) Grounds Crew maintains cleanliness during and immediately after an event at Riverbend Music Center. We are seeking hardworking, determined people who work well in a group setting and display skills of proactivity.
Reports to: Director of Maintenance, Maintenance Managers
Responsibilities:
  • Work with Crew Leaders and a small team to keep the venue clean and in working order
  • Employees will be responsible for maintaining and emptying waste receptacles as they fill
  • Maintain stock levels in restrooms
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the grounds across the venue
  • Move necessary facility equipment including, temporary barricade, lounge furniture, beach umbrellas, tables, and chairs
  • Break down and store VIP seats in storage carts
  • Sweep, pick up, and dispose of scattered litter on the within the seated areas after the show ends
  • Occasionally perform various cleanups according to calls received over the radio
  • Detail clean any necessary surfaces with chemical cleaner
  • Use provided hands-free equipment to sanitize restrooms across the property
  • Active listening and talking via radio communication
  • Effectively convey information to Show Shift Managers on site
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Attention to detail and efficient time management skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions, especially heat and rain, for a majority of an 8-hour shift
  • Understanding and willingness to work around events including weekends, nights and some holidays
  • Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
  • Capability to lift up to 25 - 50lbs
  • Ability to work in small group of up to 6 people
  • Capability to talk over radio

Available Shifts:
  • Seasonal Position ; Shifts available starting In May and ending after final event.
  • Start Times: 4:30pm - 5pm, schedule based on needs of shows
  • Duration: 8 hours
  • 8-35 hours available per week

Pay: starting at $15/hr
