Description
Position Overview:
Are you passionate about aesthetic medicine and eager to gain hands-on experience in a thriving medspa environment? DermaTouch RN in Houston, TX is offering a competitive Aesthetic Nurse Internship for Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, or Physician Assistants who are looking to kickstart their careers in the aesthetics industry.
This paid internship provides valuable exposure to both the clinical and administrative aspects of aesthetic medicine, equipping interns with the skills and knowledge to excel in this dynamic field.
Program Details:
  • Duration: 6-9 months
  • Hours: 16-24 hours per week
  • Pay: $15/hour
  • Schedule: Flexible; tailored to fit around your schedule and commitments
  • Dress Code: Scrubs
  • Eligibility: Must have an active RN, NP, or PA license in the state of Texas

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clinicians during procedures, including prepping rooms, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting patient care.
  • Manage patient flow and clinic schedules to ensure punctuality and efficiency.
  • Educate patients pre- and post-procedure, in person and over the phone.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as patient check-ins, scheduling, and charting.
  • Capture professional-quality patient photos and manage social media content creation.
  • Learn equipment care, medical protocols, and aesthetic treatment techniques.
  • Conduct phlebotomy and prepare botulinum toxin (after 3 months).
  • Observe and shadow various aesthetic procedures and attend trainings as available.
