Job description

The Telemarketer is responsible for supporting a select team of Sales Representatives. The primary goal of this position is to increase sales revenue and profit by 25% to assigned Sales Representatives. Responsible for tracking, managing, and building Compass database.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generating Prospects
โ€ข Make 100+ cold calls per day prospecting new customers and identify their needs
โ€ข Overcome objections
โ€ข Offer customers all products the GFI Digital, Inc. sells
โ€ข Identify opportunities within target organizations
โ€ข Participate in marketing efforts. (i.e., web, email, direct mail, etc)
โ€ข Add additional businesses to Compass through daily research outside of Compass
โ€ข Identify and maintain all accounts through search criteria: Major Account, Top Account, and Bottom 400 (totaling 600 accounts per Sales Representative)
โ€ข Complete designated Compass TCO for all accounts identified (such as competitor info, equipment details, and lease end dates)
Appointment Setting
โ€ข Responsible for setting appointments for outside Sales Representatives
โ€ข Communicate daily with assigned Sales Representatives
โ€ข Set activities and remind with an email of appointments at the end of each session
โ€ข Record all activities in Compass database after each contact
โ€ข Maintain a 3-month forecast of accounts to close
Personal Tracking
โ€ข Weekly track calls to meet performance target
โ€ข Have daily database entries checked
โ€ข Track activity via spreadsheet and month at a glance calendars
โ€ข Run weekly reports for tracking
Performance Targets
โ€ข 800-1000 calls per week
โ€ข Set 25-45 appointments per week
โ€ข Enter all activities generated from inside and outside Sales Representatives into Compass daily
โ€ข Educate self on product knowledge and sales techniques through company provided and self-initiated training
โ€ข Generate and meet all "Draw" and "Activity" requirements
โ€ข Work toward ETR statutes
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1.Knowledge: No experience necessary. Job requires a high school diploma/GED or higher. Experience with scanning and imaging technologies is a plus.
2.Skills: Written and verbal communications skills are a must. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers in a professional manner.
3.Abilities: Must have the ability to communicate effectively with both co-workers and customers, and enter data into the computer.
