Job description

ASRC Gulf States Constructors, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a full time Telecommunications Supervisor to support our program at Vance Air Force Base, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Responsible for the comprehensive oversight, maintenance, and strategic management of the base telephone exchange and associated communication networks at Vance AFB. This leadership role supervises technical support teams, manages commercial communication contracts, and ensures the 24/7 operational readiness of critical communication systems operations.ย  Supervises the maintenance, upkeep, and troubleshooting of the base telephone exchange and telephone systems at Vance AFB.ย  Oversee the operation of remote terminals for telephone switch systems to administer configuration changes (e.g., class of service, feature access). Reviews plans and technical solutions for base communications.ย  Supervises all Communication personnel.ย  Evaluates branch performance and assists leadership in improving operational planning and execution. Assigns and manages workflow priorities for communication service requests.ย  Provides technical, financial, and operational data regarding commercial communications to base officials and management. Reviews and approves purchase requests for commercial communication facilities under Air Force contracts. Verifies and processes payments for communication equipment and service charges. Maintains accurate records of commercial communications, authorizations, and ongoing projects.ย  Coordinates and fulfills communication requirements in support of emergency incidents and contingency operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relative experience

Must be able to obtain and maintain aย Secret security clearance.

Activeย CompTIA Security+ย certification is required.

Strong familiarity with commercial communications terminology and infrastructure.

Hands-on technical experience with telephone switch systems.
