Position Overview

My client is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and 5-10 years of experience in multi-family projects. This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in or near Las Vegas, Nevada or Portland, Oregon to collaborate effectively with regional teams and clients.



Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze structural systems for multi-family residential projects.
  • Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with building codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and construction submittals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Conduct site visits as needed for inspections and project meetings.


Qualifications
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States (preferably in NV or OR).
  • 5-10 years of structural engineering experience, with a strong focus on multi-family residential projects.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, SAP2000) and AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Strong understanding of building codes (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
