Our client is a well-established materials and infrastructure services company serving the Northeast, with a history spanning over 100 years. The organization supports large-scale construction and infrastructure projects and operates a multi-site environment that includes both corporate offices and field locations.

The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to step into a highly visible role due to a long-tenured leader’s upcoming retirement
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of IT operations across multiple locations while helping modernize systems, infrastructure, and data capabilities across the organization
The position requires a balance of day-to-day operational support and longer-term strategic improvements, acting as both a technical leader and business partner

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee IT systems, infrastructure, and support across 7+ locations
  • Support ERP and logistics platforms critical to operations
  • Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting, including onsite support when needed
  • Manage networking, telecom, cybersecurity, and system upgrades
  • Oversee third-party vendors and MSP relationships
  • Lead IT budgeting and planning efforts
  • Strengthen cybersecurity posture and business continuity processes
  • Support ongoing system implementations and technology initiatives
  • Partner with leadership to drive process improvements through technology

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of IT leadership or management experience
  • Experience supporting multi-site environments
  • Background in manufacturing, construction, logistics, or similar industries preferred
  • Strong experience with:
    • Infrastructure (networking, firewalls, VPNs)
    • ERP systems and business applications
    • Vendor and MSP management
  • Hands-on approach with willingness to dive into technical issues
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to travel between sites and operate in field environments

Nice to Have:
