We’re hiring an all-star sales manager to lead our team and help us hit our sales goals. You’ll cultivate and motivate your team, identify targets and goals, and evaluate sales performance to ensure our success. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, a team player, and loves taking on new challenges.Compensation:

$100,000 + based on experience


Responsibilities:
  • Manage our sales team by creating a sales plan for each sales representative, setting individual sales targets, assigning sales territories, and overseeing ongoing training programs to set the team up for success
  • Maintain long-lasting customer relationships and manage customer complaints to ensure we are meeting their needs
  • Evaluate the team’s sales performance and offer advice on continuous improvement
  • Keep the company growing by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs
  • Present sales reports to the team that accurately represent sales efforts including sales progress and volume to more accurately forecast future goals

You will be responsible for closing strategic deals, building high-value partnerships, and scaling a high-performing sales organization that includes field reps, channel partners, and referral ecosystems. This role is ideal for a senior B2B sales leader who thrives in a builder environment and wants real ownership, not bureaucracy.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Enterprise Sales (40%)

  • Personally close enterprise and strategic B2B accounts

  • Lead complex sales cycles with executive-level buyers

  • Set the standard for discovery, value-based selling, and closing

  • Support high-value deals and strategic accounts alongside the team

Sales Leadership & Team Building (60%)

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team

  • Build scalable sales processes, KPIs, forecasting, and reporting

  • Coach and hold reps accountable through weekly scorecards and reviews

  • Create repeatable onboarding, training, and performance systems

Partnerships & Strategic Relationships

  • Build and manage relationships with:

  • Banks and credit unions

  • Business associations and chambers of commerce

  • Strategic referral and technology partners

  • Represent CoCard at industry events, networking functions, and partner meetings

  • Develop co-selling and referral programs that drive a sustained pipeline

Go-To-Market Strategy

  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership on positioning and campaigns

  • Identify new verticals, territories, and enterprise opportunities

  • Own pipeline health, conversion metrics, and revenue forecasting

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with enterprise or complex deal exposure

  • 3+ years in sales leadership or management

  • Proven track record of closing and coaching closers

  • Experience building relationships with banks, associations, chambers, or enterprise partners

  • Strong understanding of consultative and value-based selling

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, founder-led environment

  • CRM-driven, metrics-oriented, and process-focused

  • Experience in payments, fintech, SaaS, telecom, or related industries is a strong plus.


Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department
  • Proven track record of sales success
