Job description

NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time Technology Foreman in Madison, Wisconsin.
Job Summary
  • Coordinates & supervises activities of System Technicians including planning of labor requirements
  • Ensures compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures
  • Leads weekly jobsite safety toolbox talks; completes jobsite safety forms and inspections
  • Coordinates with Project Managers to ensure productivity and task completions are within project budget guidelines
  • Analyzes blueprints effectively for job site knowledge
  • Monitors progress of implemented tasks and timely deliverables
  • Analyzes pending tasks for planning of required equipment, procedures, and training
  • Completes overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size
  • Installation and Termination of peripheral devices
  • Installation of pathways and cabling
  • Programming and testing of installed Systems
  • Testing and troubleshooting of System hardware equipment
  • Conducts appropriate Systems Training for customers
  • Completes maintenance and customer support service calls for installed Systems
  • Provides quality customer support services

Qualifications
  • 6 or more years recent low voltage installation experience
  • BICSI Installer Copper & Fiber Certification or BICSI Technician Certification or equivalent certification required
  • Proficient communication (verbal/written), personal computer, and MS Office (EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK) skills
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy
